Wii'd Out!

Jeff called me quietly into the twins' room yesterday after a long day of playing Wii, and this is what we found. Poor Griff had absolutely passed out after a long day of playing Wii. If you look closely, you can see that we had spaghetti for lunch! Bless his little heart, he has a death grip on the remotes even as he sleeps. It's a twin thing! They are always scared that the other one might get what they have!

Happy Thanksgiving 2009!

Tuck and Griff's last Thanksgiving Day feast at their preschool. They were the big Indians this year. The 3 year olds are the Pilgrams. They sang their hearts out. I was so proud. Happy Thanksgiving! I am so thankful for my sweet boys.

You'll Shoot Your Eye Out!

Jackson is in our local community theater's production of "A Christmas Story" this holiday season. He is playing the role of Grover Dill (pictured above from the movie)who is the bully's (pictured above wearing the animal skin hat) sidekick. He is having a blast! It is crunch time, so we are practicing everyday. I was involved in theater beginning at his age until I went to college, so I am definitely enjoying watching him make new friends and memories that I can relate to. Much more time and effort goes in to a live production than one might realize. It is the 25th anniversary of the hilarious classic "A Christmas Story" and the play is filled with all the favorites including the bunny suit, leg lamp and tongue to the pole.

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

I love Not Me! Monday! Where you can be honest about things you might not want to admit.

We had a busy weekend complete with extra drama from my boys. I thought I would share some of my boys' behaviors this weekend with the NOT MY CHILD version of Not Me! Monday! Try to guess who did what...

My child did NOT repeatedly stick his tongue out at me in front of the entire congregation at church.

My child did NOT say "this sh#@ is sad" while watching the beginning of Nemo.

My child did NOT wet his pants because he didn't want to stop playing.

My child did NOT say "then I hate you" everytime he did not get his way.

My child did NOT insist on ordering a big salad at a restaurant, then take one bite.

My child did NOT ask to sing in front of his friends, only to begin sobbing when they stopped to listen.

My child did NOT punch his brother as hard as he could in the ribs.

My child did NOT sneak candy to bed and make a huge mess.

My child did NOT sneak my favorite earrings to his hidden stash.

Share the fun and tell me what your child did NOT do this weekend!
